BIO

Judith is a mixed media artist. Her process involves working with multi media and using what is unique to each medium. This involves a combination of processes such as monoprinting, etching, lithography, silkscreen, and painting - all integrated through collage. She has been working in the Greater Boston area for many years and has work in many private and corporate collections.

The further away you step, the more you see. The closer you are the more you understand.

What I see is everything as part of a pattern. Granted, the pattern is often interrupted until you step back some more. I'm interested in exploring visual patterns. Structure, order and inconsistencies are all a part of this. Just as life is a series of moments, each piece is a series of parts... each with its own history of development. The emphasis is on the complexity of the parts within the simplicity of the whole.
